The building was originally built as headquarters for Dovre Insurance company and was designed by architect Nils Holter in the 1950s. He was also architect for Kringkastingshuset at Marienlyst. The refurbishment included changing all the facades and was detailed in close relationship with both Planetaten and Byantikvaren. Due to the environmental and the thermal values of the facades, ENOVA contributed greatly to the costs of the refurbishment.
