The old building housed the administration to the paper mill factory. The intention was to transform the old building in to a modern office building and extend the area with another two floors. By carving out the center of the volume and create a large glazed atrium with staircases and meeting rooms the floor template could get a more efficient floor plan. The building also opens up towards the river and the sea beyond.
