The building contains 7 care homes, 13 units for patients with dementia as well as a daycare center. The building structure is organized around a central outdoor space. In that way the residents can walk around a central focal point and with kitchen, living spaces and other communal facilities organized along the route, gives a sense of place and recognition. The main entrance and other healthcare services separate the two institutions physically from each other.
