The new healthcare center incorporates 80 housing units for people who needs assistance on a daily basis, as well as many different healthcare services. The entrance to the center opens up and invites the visitor in to the heart of the building, where one finds the restaurant, library, local nursing-unit, physiotherapy and hairdresser. To give the large building a variable expression and to break down the scale, balconies are design in different ways and the cladding have a mixture of wood and render. A roof terrace over the communal areas on ground floor allows the visitors and inhabitants to enjoy a private outdoor space.
